Schock Mark VII Naples SabotIn 1997 we introduced a very innovative Sabot with a foam-cored hull and extra-wide hiking rails. Because it was our seventh Sabot design, we called it the Schock Mark VII Naples Sabot. This Sabot is ideal for heavier sailors. It won't twist, flex, or ripple. The rail, mast partner, and thwart are molded in one piece, rather than five, making the interior structure a rigid and reliable part. When bonded to the foam-cored hull, it creates an incredibly stiff boat. Gone are the wooden rails that require annual maintenance. We have also added a slightly flared hiking rail that makes the Schock Mark VII Naples Sabot much more comfortable in heavy air. The foam core provides positive buoyancy, and the center thwart adds more floatation. The Mark VII is available in two models — the Mark VII Club Model for beginners and "cruisers", and the Mark VII Turbo Model for serious racers. Both models meet the measurement requirements of the International Naples Sabot Association (INSA). |
