Brian Thomas / Corsair Racing Sabot
The Schock-built Brian Thomas/ Corsair Racing Sabot has a single laminate 100% hand laid up fiberglass hull with high gloss gel coat on the outside. The interior is white with colored splatter paint. The fiberglass mast partner and center thwart are bonded into place, and the boat is equipped with a wood floorboard that is covered with foam non-skid padding. The center thwart provides floatation, and the boat has teak inner and outer rails for comfort and strength.
The racing kit for this high-speed racing Sabot has low stretch, high strength, color-coded control lines that are lead aft to the center thwart. It is also equipped with a 2:1 internal outhaul, a 2:1 downhaul, a boom preventer, an adjustable stern traveler, and a Harken mainsheet ratchet block.
The standard hull color for all of our Sabots is white, but we have a wide range of custom colors to choose from, and we are happy to add custom striping, either horizontal or vertical. We can even install the boat's name right here at the factory, so the boat is completely ready to launch and go sailing.
